High Jump and Pole Vault are just some of the numerous track and field events that you can record in Sports Tracker. This tutorial shows you how to enter results for these two events using the Sports Tracker web app.
Step 1: Entering high jump and pole vault results are a bit different from long jump results. Long jumps are based on attempts, unlike in high jumps where participants usually get knocked out and eliminated.
Step 2: Click on Result Entry icon.
Step 3: You can see here that sports tracker displays the name of the participants, places/position and points. Also you can see that sports tracker has the ability to Add New Levels. Let’s try to add a level by clicking on the + Level button.
Step 4: Enter the following details about the starting line, and click Save when you’re done.
Step 5: Notice that it has created 3 columns and these columns will be filled by X – if the student failed and O – if the student clears the level.
Step 6: Once the level is cleared, you can continue adding and filling the levels until you get a winner. Lastly click on Refresh Place.
Step 7: Participants are arranged according to their respective places and displays the best level and points.
